Celebrating the International Day of the African Child 16th June 2025

Today, we joined fellow partners under Be Brave Uganda at St. Mary’s Primary School, Katete – Mbarara, to mark the International Day of the African Child 2025.

This day is a powerful reminder of the importance of creating safe spaces where children can share, be heard, and be protected. At Msichana Uganda, we believe every child’s voice matters, and today we stood alongside learners, educators, and community members to listen, learn, and amplify their voices.

Together, we reflected on the urgent need to end child sexual violence, ensuring that every African child grows up in dignity, safety, and with opportunities to thrive.

Their voices matter. Their future matters.
