Annual Report 2024 Update Summary for Msichana Uganda

Welcome to the 2024 Annual Report update, a comprehensive reflection of Msichana Uganda’s unwavering commitment to empowering girls and women across Uganda. This year, we’ve made significant strides in our mission to advance gender equality through transformative programs in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), education, economic empowerment, and climate justice.

Key highlights include the distribution of over 5,000 reusable sanitary pads through the “Pad Every Girl” campaign, tackling period poverty and stigma in underserved communities, and hosting groundbreaking advocacy forums on ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Kween District. We also celebrated milestones in education, such as scholarship recipients graduating and the empowerment of girls in STEM through mentoring sessions.

With a focus on sustainable impact, our programs align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), addressing barriers to inclusion, health, and economic opportunities. This update showcases our progress, challenges, and future aspirations as we work to transform lives and communities across Uganda.
