Together, we reached the Central Zone, Project Zone, Industrial View Zone, and Kalina Zone, distributing reusable sanitary pads and engaging communities in open conversations about menstrual health.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1710 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281227-MMD-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281227-MMD-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281227-MMD-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281227-MMD-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281227-MMD-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281227-MMD.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For many of the girls we met, this was more than receiving a pad\u2014it was receiving a chance to stay in school with confidence. One young girl shared:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNow I don\u2019t have to miss class because I lack pads. I feel safe knowing I can use these for a long time.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1709 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281225-MMD.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"639\" height=\"479\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281225-MMD.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281225-MMD-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.msichana.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1000281225-MMD-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 639px) 100vw, 639px\" \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mothers, too, expressed relief that their daughters would not have to struggle through the same challenges they faced growing up. These voices remind us that menstrual equity is not an abstract goal\u2014it is a lived reality that transforms education, dignity, and opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>At Msichana Uganda, we stand firm in the belief that:<br \/>\n\ud83d\udccc Access to menstrual products is a right, not a privilege.<\/p>\n<p>This Menstrual Hygiene Day was a powerful step forward, but also a call to action.
